ESPN settles with Harold Reynolds  Learn more

Recently, it was announced that ESPN baseball analyst Harold Reynolds had been fired after simply being "accused" of sexual harassment. It hasn't even been proven yet. We think this is absolute bunk. Why should someone be fired over an accusation?

Harold Reynolds is a great role model with a reputation for doing a lot for the community. He also regularly helps kids who participate in little league baseball. We felt it was fitting to create an online petition to help get Harold Reynolds his ESPN job back. Please join us in the fight to save Harold Reynolds!

2810 Donna Stewart Harold is a commentator you can count on to be accurate and easy on the ears. I love the way Harold interacted with the kids at the LLws. I missed him so much this year! Bring him back to baseball. CLEAR HIS NAME NOW.

2809 Michael I have known Harold Reynolds since 1997 when going to his Pic\\\'N\\\'Stick baseball camp in Oregon during High School. Being a shortstop and second base Harold and I started a great rapport founded in a game we both love and enjoy. I can not speak to what occured at ESPN, but I can say that Harold demonstrated leadership, moral character, and devoted to coaching the younger generation how to play the game right. During these camps Harold was a professional and demonstrated that the lessons he learned from baseball he took to the professional world. The lesson he learned on the feild was demonstrated in speech and action at his camps. He was a role model of professionalsim, devotion to exceling to hieghier expectations, mentor, coach, and ethical. I am signing, because I know that Harold is an outstanding individual, and it is a shame that this issue was not handled with professionalism and intergirty. I have resarched the issue by examining both sides, and it appears to be a that Harold was wrongful fired due to a misunderstanding and miscommunication involving human interaction. A special note to Harold, if you read this I would like you to know that you had a profound influence on how I played the game and the professional and intergrity that I teach to my baseball players. Thank You.

2808 Marlon It's ok...I get to see him on MLB Network now. ESPN S-U-C-K-S!!!

2807 David I\'ll sign, but he once said he could read the trademark on a 98 mph fastball. Absolutely moronic.

2806 Keely Chow Bring back Harold Reynolds.

2805 Pete I despise ESPN for this, as well as all the other poor decisions they have made. Their lineup of announcers is awful now, and it all started when hr got fired. this is total bs and I feel horrible for him. He was one of my favorite players and favorite baseball analyst. He is a great guy and shouldnt be fired for an accusation!

2804 d bring him back

2803 Trav Clark Someone should start a boycott of ESPN until Harold is back

2802 Chuck I'm glad to Harold back talking baseball. ESPN rather be a football channel($$$$$). I hope TBS keeps Harold and is the baseball channel.

2801 Jeff Nevins HR is too good for ESPN!

2800 Gerald I think he should defiantly get his job back!!

2799 Patrick ESPN made a dumb mistake in getting rid of HR, to this day he's one of my favorite analysts. Oh well, ESPN's loss is TBS's gain.

2798 Brandon HR is without a doubt the best baseball analyst there is PERIOD!

2797 Tim I'll follow Harold to networks other than ESPN ... he's one of the best and is such a breath of fresh air compared to clowns like Joe Morgan. ESPN should be ashamed of the way they handled this.

2796 Suzan Whiting Bring him back. He was way better on BBTN than TBS, where he just talks like he knows it all.

2795 Stan Why let an idot like Cornheiser on Monday Nights with no experience in a game,an not let an expert like Reynolds talk about something he knows and \"LOVES\". He\'s innocent until proven guilty \"right\".

2794 Gerard The public consensus is accurate, Baseball Tonight BLOWS! Without the insightful analysis of HR, it has been reduced to an pathetic attempt to look an show dedicated to baseball and baseball analysis. Besides, his replacements are piss poor!!!

2793 Bill Free him

2792 E bring back HR-I am so sick of hearing the inanities from that douchebag Kruk

2791 Thom Burns Harold Reynolds represents the best of underprivileged young black men succeeding in America. Rising from depressed living conditions, and using not only his physical abilities, but even more his brain and spirituality to make the most of his life.

Harold was a great contact hitter, great glove man, and turned himself into a great base stearler. A true student of the game, nobody can teach base stealing as well as Harold Reynolds. I'm talking Lou Brock and Rickey Henderson. Rickey is a talent, but limited in his journalistic abilities. He was raw talent who could never put into words the nuances of base stealing. Cro-Magnon base stealer, par-exccelance.

Lou Brock grew up in an era where you just did it -- you didn't speak of it.

If he ever wrote a book about it, I never found it. Lou stole bases based on gut instinct. Harold did on science.

2790 Brandon Harold is missed, I wish something could be done...

2789 mark Harold never got the innocent until proven guilty. Why not ever an investiagation on this?

2788 Scott He\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s the best.

2787 Neal Herndon At least we get him on TBS for the postseason, but he needs to be back on Baseball Tonight and at the LL World Series.

2786 Ryan Harold Reynolds is the best analyst that ESPN, had for MLB. Without him Baseball Tonight is not worth a darn!

2785 Ed M. let's see, Harold Reynolds actually knew baseball, and was charming

and ESPN has yet to find another analyst who is even close to his talent

2784 Luke I can't watch BBTN for five minutes since HR left.

2783 Marco Bring HR back. He knows his baseball. I remeber him piking Cliff Lee for Cy Young a couple years back and he´s winning it this year coming out of nowhere.

He´s 10x better than the guys now and made a great team with J Kruk.

2782 Mike and Gina College and LL series need his perspective

2781 Chris FLL FL I am a die hard fan of baseball and was not even aware that this was still going on. I thought Harold Died. He was one of the best. Disney Exec's screw many of us every year to pay the CEO's 200+ annual salary...If Imus can get his job back, Harold deservevs a raise!

2780 John and Barbara Mill baseball broadcast will never be the same. LL sportcasters are terrible without him.....

2779 Sam EY is so bad I can't take it anymore. Kruk was a good side kick for HR, but he shouldn't be the go to guy. Good move by TBS, but HR needs to be on the big stage. ESPN without HR, BBT might as well have Mike MacFarlan, Dave Justice, and EY because the show is guaranteed to blow anyway.

2778 Aaron Harold is the man. Baseball tonight now sucks.

2777 Karen Harold always had that unique combination of wit and intelligence. Haven't seen much of that lately!

2776 john watkins this is bull shit!! they cant even prove that he did anything wrong. he was da best analyst on baseball tonight and him and kenny mayne were da only reason 2 watch da celebrity softball game. espn needs 2 get smart and bring harold reynolds back.

2775 Paul Larkin I don't understand why ESPN can't quite get it through their head that it is WORSE press that they fired him without any provication. HR is 10x the anchor EY is and it BLOWS he is forced into mediocridy by doing the pre and post Mets games.... ESPN lost a lot of my respect

2774 Corey What happened to Hugs not Drugs? Soon we will have to walk around blind folded in fear of being sued for sexual harrassment. I am sick of watching John Kruk stumble over words. Steve Phillips making ridiculous analysis . I use to watch baseball tonight every night, but now I haven't seen it in months. I am ashamed. Now I know why nobody likes baseball anymore. If this is the way we represent it, then I agree with the majority who don't like baseball. Peter Gammons is our only hope. For his sake he should retire before his name is tainted.

2773 Tim BRING HR BACK!!

2772 Billman Harold was Baseball Tonights leader and made it much more interesting than it is now!

2771 Toby Young, Singleton, Vina, and whoever else they run out there on Baseball Tonight are painful to watch....BRING BACK HAROLD REYNOLDS

2770 G. Caudle Well ESPN sure jumped the gun on this issue. At least we can tune into TBS and catch some quality analysis with Harold. Irvin has cocaine on him and stays. A remark is supposedly made and we fire a man before an ivestigation is completed.

2769 Damon Davis Let him work for FOX.....he will draw some ppl away from the now mediocre Baseball Tonight

2768 alex baseball tonight is not the same without harold. we need you back!!!!

2767 Brent Moore Can't stand watching baseball tonight without HR.

2766 Adam No one has been able to replace Harold. How about we fire people for bad sports casting instead of accusations? Eric Young?! You've got to be kidding me. Stick to baseball, and if you can't then retire already. TV is not a place for you.

2765 Nathan Kaul The CWS is a joke without him.

2764 J A Kamen Ill just watch Fox Sports Now

2763 David Knecht I have been a sleep for the last two years and have awaken to a world without Harold Reynolds. Please bring back Harold Reynolds to baseball commentary and little league world series coverage, it is not the same without him...

2762 derek Baseball Tonight is just pure crap now without HR.

2761 Nicholas Claiborne Bring Reynolds back. It is not fair because at anytime anybody can be accused of anything.

2760 ml bogan Baseball is not the same without Harold. What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

2759 Derek Jones Bring Harold back for the LLWS

2758 Wally Kacher Harold Reynolds is one of the greatest baseball broadcasters of all time and deserves a national show.

2757 Kyle Rarely watch it anymore w/o HR on it.

2756 john he was simply the best now sny has the best

2755 Ashley Harold Reynolds doesn't need ESPN anymore but they surely need him. He was the best analyst they had and all the guys they've brought in trying to replace him are nowhere near as good as he was on a bad day. Baseball Tonight isn't even the same show anymore and Kruk is a joke. Baseball Tonight has their work cut out for them to find quality analysis like HR. I will always support Harold

2754 grant nagy eduardo perez is a joke they never have any players who were even half way descent ball players on the show

2753 john z harold i\'m with you bud espn needs t bring him back, I cant stand his replacement so much so I can\'t even tell you who it is

2752 B Brian Blair Harold and Kruk were a great team--we need them back together!!!!

2751 C A Hill Harold, Don't worry, real fans know your a great role model regardless of what ESPN thinks.

2750 Ben Dennison Bring Harold Back!!!

2749 Kevin Anderson Without Harold Reynolds ESPN and Baseball Tonight are not as good of a team. He is way better then Orestes Estrada.

2748 Eric Chaffiot He was great. If this alledged victim had problems with reynolds that should be taken up sepperately between the two, and not ESPN.

2747 Derick Bring Harold Reynolds back, look at the show now, its going no where, I stop watch, and many of my friends, bring him back.

2746 Paul D His coverage of the Little League World Series was excellent and his intelligent insight into the game is deeply missed.

2745 Christopher Ghuzzi Good luck Harold.

2744 Jim Gebhard Real Baseball fans everywhere misses Harold's insight and expert comentary on baseball.

ESPN's Baseball Tonight now is boring and makes us all happy to have a working remote control.

2743 Jeffery Sellers my idea is, let's get all the morons to do the reporting. Oh, wait espn already does that. BRING REYNOLDS BACK.

2742 James R Martin I watch Baseball Tonight and it just isn\\\\\\\'t the same since Harold isn\\\\\\\'t around. I think this is just sad.

2741 Mike Harold made baseball tonight enjoyable to watch.

2740 Jeremy W. Bring Harold Back!!!

2739 Nicholas Its an accusation, what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty. isnt that suppose to be the basis of America. Harold should of had a chance to fight the accusations and for his reputation, not for his job. this is a bigger disgrace for espn mistreating a man like harold reynolds than it would be if he is guilty. he is loved and is looked upon by baseball fans and players. shame on espn and abc for mistreating harold reynolds and i sign with ease. we have rights as people of the united states or do they not apply to espn.

2738 Jerrad Wilson He is much better than most of the people on there now...He needs to come back

2737 Brian Harold was simply the best baseball commentator there is... the Tom Jackson of Baseball!!! Bring him back

2736 Christopher DeLanoy fire berman instead

2735 Dr. Bragg It is there lose...he deserves better.

2734 S Stamp Yet another example of Femministic political correctness gone crazy. Whats next claiming sexual harrasment because you looked at some woman because she wore a low cut blouse? or a woman saying that she was harrassed(felt uncomfortable) because she had to go into a Mens lockeroom after a game?

2733 Bo Johnson He is missed

2732 Neil Baseball tonight has no personality now that reynolds is gone.

2731 Faiz Harold was great, damn you can even be nice in the world today and offer to pay for someones meal. It\'s to easy fellas for these ladies to destroy our lives you gotta keep an eye on them, watch ya back bros.

2730 Ryan Simply because Baseball tonight, is not only boring, but borederline boring since hes been gone.

2729 Mike G Great player, great commentator!

2728 Dave HR rocks. I'll bet he got $5m and then some...ESPN would have lost their shirt in court. He's got to get back into the booth, but not with Disney.

2727 Joe Michael Irvin got his job back after misunderstood drugs were found in his vehicle. ESPN\\\'s hypocrisy\\\'s know no boundaries. Harold Reynolds made the show better and Buck Showwalter is crap.

2726 Joseph Dolcine Ever since Mr. Reynolds has departed way from ESPN, I have stopped watching baseball tonight and they havent hired anyone since that have done as a good of job as Mr.Reynolds.

2725 b lew baseball tonight is stale without HR...

2724 Paul - NY Bring back Harold! He made Baseball fun to watch for millions!

2723 Jeff Barrows Bring back Harold!

2722 Jacob Baseball tonight isnt worth watching without Harold Reynolds

2721 John B I have wathced Harlod for years and thought he was one of the few if only broadcasters who did not fill time with common knowledge. I am from Atlanta and would love to see him replace some of the guys calling the braves games.

2720 Brian Milam Harold is and was without question the best analyst ESPN has ever had concerning baseball. I hope he is given a chance at FOX or on CBS College Sports station. Harold made it easy for non-baseball minds to understand the game.

2719 Mark He is the reason why baseball tonight was so good now its sort of boring...bring him back...its cuz he black and he taking a white man's job

2718 J what a crock! bring harold back! Jon Kruk is too fat!
